Holt Early College

Holt Public Schools are leading the way in mid-Michigan by having an early college program as part of their public high school delivery. The first cohort of students is part of the inaugural year of the Holt Early College. Holt Early College is designed to allow students to earn a high school diploma and either an associate’s degree or up to 60 transferable college credits at the same time. Early College High Schools can begin as early as ninth or tenth grade. An early college program is a five-year high school program designed to allow a pupil to earn a high school diploma and substantial college credit through an additional fifth year of study. Sophomores interested in the Holt Early College are encouraged to pick up an application during the early spring semester in the counseling office. Programs of study are aligned with our post-secondary partners to provide the student the opportunity to earn an associate’s degree in a high demand profession:

Associates of Computer Networking (Cybersecurity path) – Davenport University
Associates of Computer Programming – Davenport University
Associates of Human Services – Lansing Community College
Associates of Kinesiology – Lansing Community College
Associates of Insurance & Risk Management – Lansing Community College
